Livestream starting soon - My thoughts on Sam Harris' latest arguments
In about 20 minutes, at 2pm Pacific time, I will be doing an experimental livestream on Rumble, discussing my thoughts on the latest argument from Sam Harris that raised substantial controversy.
I will do my best to steeelman his argument, which means to construct the strongest form of it, and then show you why that strongest form of Sam's argument is still hopelessly weak.
I think I should be able to get my point across in 60-90 minutes, though I might stay a bit longer if there’s questions for a Q&A at the end.
Given that this is the first time I’m doing any of this, I expect everything will go wrong. On the other hand, I have to start somewhere, and this is as good an opportunity to try this new format out as any, so I will give it a shot and we shall see how it goes.
Since I’m locked out of Twitter, any social media boost you can give this is much appreciated. Afterall, if I crash and burn, there should be an audience there to laugh at me. Is there anything funnier than a guy with a PhD in Computing failing at basic use of computers?
Monster fail on the experimental stream. Dang. I was looking forward to it. Maybe that's why the experimental jabs failed, too, eh, Sam? lol

Unfortunately Rumble is blocked in France...will find out how to access it later. It is easy but it introduces fritlction, which is more than enough for control.
