Alex. Great! More of this, please. I've proved the virus was made in a lab. I don't understand why your guests think this is still a question. There's no evidence it arose through natural zoonotic spillover that I know of. What are they talking about when they say things like, "If we do find out it came from a lab..."? It did! It did!
Also, the vaccine and the virus were developed at the same time, for years. Just look at the DARPA grant proposal submitted by Daszak. You are right. It wasn't developed in one week.]
Also, with respect, the French lady NUS teacher was incorrect about the infection fatality rate of SARS-1. She said it was 80%. It was actually 10% (still very high). 8,000 people were infected with it. About 800 died.
By the way, I've written a book called "Heroes and Villains: The COVID-19 Book of Lists" You're in it. I guess you'll have to buy it when it comes out in a few weeks to see if you're a hero or a villain... Haha, don't worry.

> Average people don’t know what’s best for them, but the elites don’t know either
The trouble is that most people do not understand the magic sauce of democracy: It is not to vote for the best government, it is to vote out a really bad government.
People like Harris do not seem to realize that if you reduce the power of the people, the people no longer have responsibility for what happens and are then free to protest every decision. Also, over time they lose the capability to react properly. You need dirt to teach the immunity system, you need to walk to keep bone density, and you need bad experiences to make the right choices. If T. had done badly, that would've been a lesson to his voters. Anti-fragility requires negatives to thrive. Wokenes (and allergies) is in my opinion a reaction to over the top protection in child hood by mothers and teachers.
That makes sense. At one point you had them scheduled, so I could see it on twitter? I really love those spaces, and hate when I miss them (even though I took a break for a long time bc. I really needed to get away from the whole Covid thing to calm my nerves a bit...)

Well put.
Since you have an international audience, I suggest you write the month in word as the queer yankee date format is confusing to non-yankees.
Fair point sir
Discovering Joe Norman is the best parting gift from leaving the Taleb fanbase.
Have only had a quick scan, but scale discussion at end seems very much on point.
as if Sam was right about much before the pandemic. Good vocabulary, poor logic.
Excellent! Is this Ancient Greek or the Forum.? Enlightening discussions (mostly)😀
After 5 yrs of quietness, @nawaz input is good to hear..thanks for the time stamping and links.
Aw man I missed it! (Was on holiday for the first time in 3 years, so maybe a good thing?).
Doing one again next Sunday?
Trying to do them a bit more rarely so we have things to say.
