I've Been Suspended From Twitter For Wishing Harm On Pierre Kory.
Or... the world is dumber than we can possibly imagine
It all started with an asinine thread which ignored the basic nature of time, space, causality, and logic, by well known Twitter troll @AngryCardio:
Naturally, I agreed that the only reasonable response to such a crime by Pierre Kory is to go old school:
Pierre responded to @AngryCardio by quoting my tweet:
The most eagle-eyed of you probably noticed something odd about the tweet above. In particular, it appears my tweet has been judged to violate Twitter's rules:
So there you have it.
Of course, I’ve appealed the suspension and I await Twitter's response, but it’s worth highlighting how utterly silly this all is. Using a well-worn turn of phrase is now “Abuse and Harassment,” as adjudicated by the powers that be. This isn’t a sustainable state of affairs for the digital public square.
Hoping to return to long form posting here soon, or if this suspension isn’t reversed, perhaps really soon.
Late Feb Update
40 days later, what’s the news? Well, for one, Pierre Kory has tweeted a link to this article with a clear confirmation for Twitter support. I have used his tweet as part of my appeal, but what good is it when nobody is looking at the appeals?
Secondly, I realized Twitter is charging me for Twitter Blue, and I can’t even log in to cancel. Fun!
I don’t blame Elon for this chaotic Catch 22 per se, but it’s a messed up system and I continue to believe that Twitter will not be a proper public square for free speech until these issues are resolved.
Oh well!

you of all people should know that the algorithm disdains sarcasm.
Maybe "tar and feather" has to be replaced with a positive algorithm version that doesn't trigger the censors. "Decorate and sprinkle."
